The Monarchs still control their Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom playoff chances, as two wins against FDU-Florham and DeSales University would clinch a spot.

Last Time Out For King's: Senior forward
Kelsey Gabriele tallied her 100th career point Wednesday afternoon for the King's College field hockey team, but wasn't enough as host Wilkes University picked up a 5-3 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom victory in play from Schmidt Stadium.
The milestone goal came with King's down 1-0 at 18:25 into the game, as she stole the ball at the top of the circle and blasted a shot into the left side of the cage to deadlock the score at a goal apiece. She became just the seventh player in program history with 100 career points, and the first since Alyssa Monaghan in 2015. It was also her 12th goal of the season and 42nd of her career, while her 12 tallies are just one behind her 13 scored as a junior.
The Monarchs outshot Wilkes on the day 22-21 in an exciting game, though Wilkes earned a 7-4 edge in penalty corners. King's starter
Brianne Maluda made four saves, while
Dervla Mcerlean allowed no goals and chalked up three stops in 27:39 of action. Gabriele led all players with 11 shot attempts, and Kendra made a game-high 12 saves for the Colonels, and sophomore
Jolee Treslar scored a pair of goals for King's.
