WILKES-BARRE, PA (November 9, 2018) – The Monarchs face Lebanon Valley College on the road this Friday. This will be the first conference meet for both the Monarchs and the Dutchmen this season. Lebanon Valley men's team looks to get their first win of the season and women to get a second win, while the Monarchs swim for redemption after their last meet at Scranton. King's College will then swim against Stevenson University, whose men's team is 0-3 and women's is 1-2, at home the following day.

Last Time Out: It was a great meet for the Monarchs despite both the men and women trailing behind in the final scores against University of Scranton. The men finished 112-93 and the women 125-80. King's was able to finish first in nine events. The men split at a 2-2 record and the women at 1-3 so far for the season.
The Book on the Monarchs:
- King's walked away with nine first-place finishes, ten second-place and nine third-place in their last meet.
- Freshman Liz Savidge set a new school record in the women's 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.35
- Claire Coe and Kirsten Siwy earned a first and second place finish each, making them the third and fourth top swimmers of the meet. Kaelyn Gardner notched a first and third finish putting her as the fifth top swimmer.
- The women's 400-yard medley relay team earned a time of 4:08.56 which was good enough to grab second in the meet's overall top swims.
- Chris Soutter was the day's second top swimmer with two first place finishes. Dan Weekes came in fourth and Rhyce Hammaker fifth.
- The men's 200-yard freestyle relay earned the meet's top time with a 1:30.28.
The Book on the Dutchmen:
- Last season, the Dutchmen and King's met on the same day for a conference meet where King's left with the victory for the women and men's team.
- Lebanon Valley's last meet was a double dual where he men's squad suffered a 130-46 defeat to Dickinson and fell to Wilkes 171-19. The women dropped a 112-84 decision to Dickinson but defeated the Colonels 131.50-67.50.
- Kyle Kingsbury was LVC's top-finisher in the 50-yard freestyle at 25.00.
- Gabe Dimisa was also the Dutchmen's top-finisher in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 56.08.
- Kaitlyn Welch, Courtney Betsock, D'Anna Sydow, and Erika Schell teamed up in the 200-yard medley relay to place second with a time of 2:01.81.
- Betsock added a second-place spot in the 200-yard individual medley.
The Book on the Mustangs:
- Senior Adam Michalak picked up a victory in the 50-Yard Freestyle with a time of 26.34 for the men in their latest meet against Lycoming.
- Michalak would later take second in the 100 Free with a time of 58.38 seconds.
- Senior Isabelle Ramsland picked up three first-place finishes. The 400 IM where she set a school-record of 4:59.97, the 100 Fly with a time of 1:04.71 and the 500 Free where she touched the wall in 5:52.26.
- Julianna Burnett earned a first-place and second place finish.
- Senior Colby Stein earned the other individual victory for the Mustangs in the 100 Back with a 1:01.55.
- Emily Wolff, Stein, Natalie Wasicko and Zoe Pflieger finished with a combined time of 1:48.34 to take first overall.
