Box Score 2 ONEONTA, NY (September 15, 2018) -- King's College senior
Rachel Miller became the fourth player in King's College women's volleyball history to post 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in a career, as her first dig of the day helped her reach the milestone as the Monarchs split contests in day two of action from the Hartwick College Invitational from Lambros Arena Saturday. King's College defeated Hilbert College in three games with scores of 25-14, 25-15 and 25-16, before falling to Oneonta 26-24, 25-13 and 25-19.

Miller posted 11 kills in the three-set victory over Hilbert, while freshman
Taylor Mueller posted the second-most service aces in a match in school history Saturday with 11 as King's rolled to the win. Freshmen
Christie Brown and
Sarah Hayward each tallied four kills for King's, and setters
Alyssa Robinson and
Wiatt Hoffmann each totaled 11 assists each.
Mueller added 10 digs to her total for the rare libero double-double, and freshman
Karissa Hartzell and sophomore
Lindsey Brady finished with eight and seven digs, respectively.
Oneonta 3, King's 0
King's finished the weekend with a three-set loss to Oneonta, chalking up a 2-2 record for the Invitational.

King's (8-3) will now look forward to a road MAC Freedom test at Manhattanville College Tuesday, September 18 in Purchase, NY in Kennedy Gymnasium.
