WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 18, 2018)- The King's College field hockey team will be back in action on Wednesday in their final non-conference match before conference play begins on Friday. The Monarchs will travel down to Annville to face Lebanon Valley College at 7 p.m. on Arnold Field.

Last Time Out: King's recovered from a sloppy start in a heavy downpour to defeat Keystone 1-0 in overtime on Monday night at McCarthy Stadium.

The Book On The Monarchs (4-3):
- Senior Kelsey Gabriele leads the team and is third in the MAC Freedom with nine points on four goals and one assist. She is still leading the conference with 32 shots on the season, averaging 4.657 shots per match. She has scored in the past three matches for the Monarchs.
- Sophomore Jolee Treslar is having an impressive rookie season for King's with eight points on three goals and two assists. She is ranked in the top 10 of the conference in all three categories.
- Senior Kelley O'Keefe, junior Maryrose Mauro, Gabriele, and Treslar are tied for fourth in the MAC Freedom with one game-winning goal each.
- Sophomore goalkeeper Brianne Maluda has played the most minutes in the conference and has made the third most saves with 38. Her three shutouts lead the MAC Freedom. She has a 2.03 goals against average and a .731 save percentage.
- The Monarch defense has allowed 14 goals in seven matches this season against a strong non-conference schedule. King's leads the MAC Freedom with three shutouts including shutouts in the past two matches. They are ranked 24th in the nation with 0.43 shutouts per match.
- This is the first-ever meeting between King's and Lebanon Valley on the field hockey field.
The Book On The Dutchmen (2-4):
- The Dutchmen enter Wednesday's match with a 2-4 record following a 1-1 weekend at the William Smith Classic. Lebanon Valley defeated St. Lawrence University 2-0 on Saturday before falling to the host Herons 3-2 on Sunday.
- Sophomore Cecile Kat is on fire to begin the season with eight goals and three assists. She leads the MAC Commonwealth and is ranked 15th in the nation with 1.33 goals per match. She is also ranked 18th in the nation with 3.17 points per match. She has scored in five straight matches for the Dutchmen.
- Lebanon Valley has also received goals from junior Mikayla Poole with two, sophomore Karli Alichwer with one, and senior Isabella Vulopas with one.
- Sophomores Jenna Lysakowski and Taylor Pentz lead the team with three assists each. They have the second most assists in the conference.
- Junior Alicia Steenkamer is fourth in the nation with four defensive saves. As a team the Dutchmen are ninth in the nation with six defensive saves.
- Senior Tori ByDeLey has made 44 saves in 383:24 minutes in cage. Her .800 save percentage is the fourth best in the MAC Commonwealth and 46th in the nation.
