WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 29, 2021) --- The King's College women's soccer team fought hard but were unable to overcome an early first half goal in a 1-0 loss at home to Ursinus College on Wednesday afternoon at McCarthy Stadium.
The Monarchs (1-4-0) launched the first attack of the match in the sixth minute which led to a shot from
Gabriella Porchetta that missed wide to the right. Just eight minutes later the Bears earned a corner kick which they took advantage of as Alex Chalmers earned the goal on a tap in after receiving an inadvertent pass from Taylor Beaumont.
