FORTY FORT, PA (October 14, 2022) – The King's College men's cross country dominated at the Wilkes University Blue and Gold Invitational behind four top-ten finishes. As a team the Monarchs finished first out of eight scoring teams in the 8k race.
The Monarchs were led by first-year
Casey Weaver who picked up a third-overall placement, finishing with a career-best time of 28:04.00. Sophomore
Tyler Petty was second on the squad, finishing fifth-overall with a 28:43.70 time.

Will McCarroll rounded out the top four Monarch finishers, collected sixth and ninth place finishes. Foytack finished five seconds behind Petty for the sixth-place finish, with a time of 28:48.50, while McCarroll also added a career-best time, finishing at 29:15.70, to take home the ninth-place finish.
Rounding out the top-five Monarchs was first-year
JT Wysocki, finishing with a 30:13.50 time, edging out sophomore teammate
Travis Lane, for 12
th place. Lane finished with a time of 30:36.30 for a 13
th-place finish. Sophomores
Andrew Novrocki and
Connor Foster rounded out the Monarch participants, as Novrocki finished 16
th-overall with a time of 30:52.80, while Foster finished at 34:41.50.
King's took first place with a score of 35 points. Penn College finished in second place, collecting 69 points, while host Wilkes came in third place, scoring 76 points.
The Monarchs have two weeks off before returning for the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Saturday, October 29
th, hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park beginning at noon.
