GETTYSBURG, PA (October 18, 2025) — Competing against a strong field of 316 runners at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College, the King's College men's cross country team delivered a solid effort, placing 22nd out of 34 scoring teams with 619 points on Saturday morning.
Sophomore
Ben Wnuk led the Monarchs with a strong 90th-place finish, crossing the 8,000-meter course in 27:21.00. Following close behind, first-year
Cohen Claar secured 112th place with a time of 27:42.80.
King's showed depth in the middle pack with first-years Nathan Higgins (179th, 29:02.10),
Ryan Baxter (218th, 29:48.70), and sophomore
Joseph Rossi (228th, 30:06.90) continuing the effort.
Rounding out the team's performance, junior
John Gillespie finished in 245th place with a time of 30:53.60, closely followed by first-year
Vinny Fazzino in 250th (31:04.70) and senior
Will McCarroll in 252nd (31:11.70).
Adding further depth, first-years
Noah Kolinovsky (258th, 31:22.90),
Casimir Glaude (270th, 31:54.60), and
Victor Cocchiaro (274th, 31:59.50) all crossed the line within minutes of each other.
Sophomore
Alek Gorski completed the team's effort in 293rd place, finishing the course in 34:27.30.
King's men's cross country is set to take the course again on Saturday, November 1, at 12:00 PM for the MAC Championships, hosted by Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA.
