NEWTOWN, PA (October 29, 2025)—Ahead of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday, the conference office released their Pre-Championship Coaches' poll on Wednesday. The Monarchs were slotted to finish 11
th with 65 points, just ahead of Hood and Stevenson. This year's meet will be held by Delaware Valley University on the Delaware Valley Cross Country Course.
The men's 8,000-meter race will kick off the day at 11:00 a.m., followed by the women's 6,000-meter race at 12:00 p.m. The day will conclude with the awards ceremony at 1:15 p.m.
Parking for buses and spectator vehicles will be available on campus in Lot A (next to the football stadium). Handicap and accessible parking will be located in Lot E. There is a $5 parking fee per car for spectators.

In this year's Pre-Championship Coaches' Poll, King's men's cross country was slated to finish 11th with 83 total points. Lebanon Valley claimed the top spot with 225 points and 15 of the 16 first-place votes. Misericordia took second with 201 points, while host Messiah rounded out the top three with 198 points. DeSales secured fourth with 181 points.
King's looks to
Preston Klem to lead the men's squad at the MAC Championships. He set a career-best 8,000-meter time of 28:34.0 earlier this season at the Misericordia Invitational and looks to improve on that Saturday.
The Aubrey Shenk Invitational was a big day on the course for the Monarchs as four runners claimed a personal best time.
Ben Wnuk (27:21.0),
Cohen Claar (27:42.8),
Ryan Baxter (29:48.7) and
John Gillespie (30:53.6) each aim to improve on those marks Saturday at Delaware Valley.
