WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 3, 2022) -- . First year libero Morgan Williams of women's volleyball was named the MAC Freedom defensive player of the week after the  Monarchs went 3-1 this week with wins over Bryn Mawr College, Immaculata University and Lehman College

The first year libero recorded 57 digs averaging 4.75 a set over three matches. She recorded 24 digs against Lycoming, 19 against Bryn Mawr and 14 against Immaculata. 

This marks the third time she has received the honor this season and the third time in her young career after winning it back-to-back weeks on September 12 and 19.
