DALLAS, PA (November 27, 2022) -- The King's College women's basketball team was downed, 90-30, by Misericordia University in their Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opener on Sunday evening. The Monarchs now stand at 1-6 overall and 0-1 in conference play, while the Cougars improve to 6-0 and 1-0 in the MAC Freedom.

Misericordia (6-0, 1-0 MAC Freedom) commanded the contest from the start, scoring the first 12 points of the contest before a layup from senior
Sarah Heiskell-Mann put a stop to the early run. The offensive woes would continue throughout the contest as King's (1-6, 0-1 MAC Freedom) fell, 90-30, in their MAC Freedom debut in Misericordia's Anderson Center.

Alyssa Bondi led all scorers with 17 points, adding four assists, while Morgan Haefele had a balanced effort of 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

The Monarchs are back in action on Wednesday evening, traveling to DeSales University for the MAC Freedom match up at 8:00 p.m.
