ANNVILLE, PA (November 8, 2022) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has begun unveiling its post-season awards today, starting with the All-MAC Women's Volleyball teams. The Monarchs saw first year libero Morgan Williams announced as an All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention recipient. Williams was a major part of a Monarchs team that went 18-10 on the season and went undefeated at home against non-conference opponents.

In just her first year, Williams led the team and was fourth in the MAC Freedom with 388 digs, averaging 4.41 a set. She also was second on the team with 46 service aces. Williams was the centerpiece of the young Monarchs defense all season long which averaged 16.85 digs a set, second among MAC Freedom teams. She was named as a MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week three times this season.

Williams joins a long list of King's women's volleyball players who have been honored in the post season awards as this is the seventh consecutive season that a Monarch has earned All-MAC Freedom accolades.
