MANHEIM, PA (April 8, 2022) -- On Friday afternoon, the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) announced the full slate of 2021-2022 Scholar All-America Team and Individual honorees for NCAA Division III. Among this years honorees were King's College senior
Kade Kravits, junior
Gus Petruske IV, and first year
Nick Germano.
Kravits and Petruske earn their second nods on the list as the pair were honored for the first time in their careers in 2021. The award is the first in the young career of Germano as he becomes the 40th wrestler in program history to earn the accolade. This year marks the third consecutive year a Monarch wrestler was honored by the NWCA, and it is the first time a trio of Monarchs received the award since the 2017-18 season.
Kravits, Petrusk, and Germano were among 325 individuals representing 87 institutions across the NCAA Division III landscape.
"On behalf of the NWCA Board of Directors, it is my honor to recognize these exceptional athletes and teams," NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer said. "Wrestling takes much focus and sacrifice, and we are proud to honor these wrestlers for their obvious commitment to their academic pursuits!"
