WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 12, 2022) -- In the second weekly honors of the season, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced Morgan Williams of King's College women's volleyball Mas the MAC Freedom women's volleyball defensive player of the week. 

In three games this week Williams had 46 digs, seven receptions while averaging 4.18 digs per set and 0.64 receptions per set. The first year libero had 26 digs in the conference opener against Delaware Valley and led the team with 13 in their 3-0 win over Wilson College on Saturday. She was the centerpiece of a series of solid defensive efforts by the Monarchs in their three games this week. 

Two Monarchs in the first two weeks of the 2022 fall sports seasons have received this honor. Williams follows Zoe Tomko of women's cross country who received the honor last week.
