King's (1-6) opened the scoring just over a minute into the contest, as sophomore
Grace Venis found the back of the cage to put the Monarchs up 1-0 at 13:47. Bryn Athyn (2-1) responded quickly as Shea Gormley tied the game at 12:37. The team's traded chances before sophomore
Kyleigh Dunworth put the Monarchs back in front at 7:49. Once again the Lions answered, this time late in the quarter, on a free position goal from Sabrina Brock at 1:19, sending the game to the second quarter tied at two. Bryn Athyn took their first lead of the evening early in the second quarter, jumping ahead 3-2 at 13:55. King's waited for their opportunity, and sophomore
Alli Lindsay took it, tying the game late in the second quarter at three, at 2:05, as the teams headed into the half all square.

Bryn Athyn retook the lead in the third quarter, using a 3-0 run, to jump in front 6-3 heading to the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Monarchs struck early, cutting the deficit to two, as Lindsay tallied her second goal of the contest at 13:36. King's pushed to get back into the game, but were unable to cut into the lead further. A late Lions goal at 3:20 sealed the victory for Bryn Athyn, coming away with the 7-4 win.

Senior
Jessie Smalley started the contest in the cage, making 13 saves on 20 shots. Lindsay led the Monarchs attack, tallying two goals, and both Dunworth and Venis added one goal. King's collected seven of 15 draws, led by sophomore
Ashley Dias who corralled two. The Monarchs forced 15 Lions turnovers, as sophomore
Gabby Lucchesi caused three, while Dias, Smalley, and junior
Olivia Benner all caused two.

Chloe Munyon got the start in goal and finished with 11 saves on 15 shots. Gormley paced the Lions attack, registering six points on six goals. Bryn Athyn controlled eight draws and caused 18 Monarchs turnovers.

King's closes out the non-conference portion of their schedule, as the Monarchs remain on the road to take on Manhattanville at 12 p.m. on Saturday in Purchase, NY.
