LOCK HAVEN, PA (September 23, 2023) -- After a brief hiatus, the King's College women's cross country team returned to action on Saturday afternoon as they competed in the Lock Haven Invitational. The 6,000-meter meet, hosted by Lock Haven University, was run at West Branch Cross Country Course.

Zoe Tomko was first to cross for King's, finishing in 23:34.5 to place 114
th out of the 286 runners in the crimson meet.
Julia Johnson crossed in a new personal best of 23:52.3, while
Cecilia Chipriano posted a personal best time of 26:29.2.
Mara Ryan rounded out the Monarch runners in the meet with a time of 29:00.6.

Edinboro's Kylie Anicic earned the top spot in the meet, crossing in 20:13.7.

The Monarchs will return to action on Saturday, October 14 as they are set to compete in the 2023 Inter-Regional Border Battle. The meet, held at DREAM Park in Glassboro, NJ, is hosted by Rowan University and will begin at 11:00 a.m.
