2023-2024 King's College Men's Ice Hockey Schedule
WILKES-BARRE, PA (September 27, 2023) -- Just a little over a month away from the first puck drop of the season the King's College men's hockey team released their schedule on Wednesday afternoon. King's will take part in 25 matches in their regular season, led by third year head coach Tom Seravalli. The Monarchs 25 game slate includes 20 UCHC matchups and eight MAC contests. The Monarchs will host 10 games on their home ice at the Revolution Ice Centre in Pittston, PA.
The Monarchs get the year started in the Buffalo State Bengals Classic on Oct. 27 and Oct. 28, taking on the Bengals in game one, with the second game against either Salve Regina or Arcadia. The following weekend King's will be on the road again traveling to Pittsburgh to take on Chatham on Nov. 3 and Nov. 4 to begin UCHC play.Â
The Monarchs take home ice for the first time against Neumann on Nov. 10 at 7:00 p.m. and Nov. 11, and host cross-town rival Wilkes on Nov. 22. King's will play one game on the road at Wilkes on Nov. 26 before returning home for game one of the season's first MAC series against Arcadia, and then hit the road for game two played in Glenside, PA. The Monarchs will play one MAC game at Stevenson before taking a leave of action for winter break. King's starts the month of January with a four-game road trip and three nonconference games, traveling to Trinity on Jan. 2, Post on Jan. 3, Stevenson on Jan. 7, and SUNY Cortland on Jan. 13.
The remainder of the Monarchs season sees the squad host UCHC and MAC opponents as they take on Nazareth on Jan. 19 and Jan. 20 and a series on the road at Alvernia on Jan. 26 and Jan 27. King's returns home to host Utica on Feb. 2 and Feb 3 and Lebanon Valley on Feb. 9 and Feb. 10, before hitting the road one last time to take on Manhattanville on Feb. 16 and Feb. 17.
The 2024 UCHC Playoffs are set to begin on Feb. 20 for the UCHC's first round, followed by the quarterfinals on Feb. 21, the semi-finals on Feb. 24, and the finals on Mar. 2.Â
