GLENSIDE, PA (October 5, 2024) -- The King's College women's soccer team picked up a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom road win over the Knights of Arcadia on Saturday evening. The Monarchs defeated the Knights 1-0 at Jean Lenox West Field.Â

It was a slow start in the first half of the contest as both teams began trading blows. King's (2-5-4) was in good position after an Arcadia (4-7-0) foul with 10:23 left of the half.
Jenna Waldbillig capitalized off of a penalty kick to put the Monarchs up 1-0. The final minutes of the half were scoreless, and King's went into the break with a one point lead.

The Knights took the first shot of the second half, but the Monarch defense held strong with several saves by
Ashlyn Crawford. Arcadia took the last shot of the game with 3:44 left on the clock and King's stood victorious, 1-0.

The Monarchs will continue on the road with a matchup against Marywood at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 9
th. The squad will return home to take on Delaware Valley at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 12
th.
