NEWTOWN, PA (March 25th, 2024) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office announced the men's volleyball MAC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. The King's College Monarchs witnessed Gavin Gilhool (Jr.) earn this weekly honor for the fourth time this season. 

Gilhool collected 13 blocks and eight digs in the Monarchs 3-0 week. He averaged 4.33 blocks a game and one block a set. Gilhool earned five blocks in the win against Neumann and two blocks in the MAC win against Hood. The junior middle blocker recorded a new career-best in the win over Drew with six total blocks.

The King's College men's volleyball team has had a player tab a MAC weekly award five times this season with Greg Bousquet (So.) earning the MAC Offensive Player of the Week earlier in the year.
