DALLAS, PA (August 30, 2024) -- Senior Owen Foytack placed 11^th overall to lead the King's College men's cross country team to a fifth-place team finish in their season opener in the Misericordia Invitational on Friday evening.
 
On the 4,000-meter course at Letterkenny Fields, Foytack finished 11^th in a personal best time of 12:52.00, while senior Logan Taylor crossed next in 29^th in a personal best 13:49.20, while first year Preston Klem made his collegiate debut in 31^st in 13:55.40. First year Ben Wnuk was next to finish in 14:06.40, and senior Travis Lane posted a time of 14:42.00. First year Joseph Rossi (14:53.20) and first year Alek Gorski rounded out the King's runners in 15:52.40.
 
The Monarchs will be back in action on Friday, September 13^th at 5:00 p.m. in Kutztown's DII/DIII Challenge at the North Campus Farm Course.
