WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 14, 2025) – The King's College women's volleyball team battled throughout but came up short in straight sets to Lebanon Valley inside McGrane Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The Monarchs move to 11–8 overall and 1–3 in MAC Freedom play.
Lebanon Valley took control early, using a steady attack and consistent passing to win the opening set 25–19. King's found its rhythm in the second, trading points behind kills from Theresa Lynch and Emma Bolich, but the Dutchmen closed on a late run to take it 25–20. The Monarchs pushed back in the third, with Hannah Swinsburg and Mia Campanile sparking a mid-set rally, but Lebanon Valley held off the comeback to seal the match 25–22.
King's totaled 36 assists, 28 digs, and 21 kills while hitting .138 as a team. Lynch led the offense with eight kills, Swinsburg followed with five, and Bolich added four. Ariela Towsey distributed 31 assists and tallied eight digs, while Morgan Williams anchored the defense with 13 digs and three assists. Izzy Deluco also contributed eight digs and an ace from the service line.
The Monarchs (11–8, 1–3 MAC Freedom) return to action on Saturday, October 18, when they hit the road for a tri-match against Penn State Mont Alto and Penn State Hazleton inside McGrane Gymnasium.
