DOYLESTOWN, PA (October 18, 2025) — The King's College women's soccer team delivered an explosive offensive showing on Saturday afternoon, earning a 5–1 victory over Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action. With the win, the Monarchs improve to 5–7–2 overall and 1–1–1 in conference play, while the Aggies fall to 3–10–1 and 0–3–0 in the MAC Freedom.
King's controlled the pace early, generating several quality chances before breaking through in the 17
th minute when
Isabella Pacia finished a pass from
Jenna Waldbillig to make it 1–0. The Monarchs carried that momentum into the half, holding a 17–3 advantage in shots and dictating play across the field.
The offense kept rolling after the break. In the 51
st minute,
Victoria Hanna doubled the lead with a strike off an assist from
Karissa Coleman, before Coleman found the back of the net herself just five minutes later, converting a feed from Pacia to push the lead to 3–0.
Hanna then tallied her second of the day in the 60
th minute on a breakaway to make it 4–0.
Madison Jellema capped the scoring in the 79
th with her third goal of the season, making a move to her right past a solo defender and sending a shot into the bottom right corner of the net.
Delaware Valley spoiled the shutout with a goal in the 89
th minute, but the Monarchs' attack and defensive organization proved too much throughout.
King's fired 30 total shots with 18 on goal while limiting Delaware Valley to nine shots with six on target. The Monarchs also held a 7–3 advantage in corner kicks. In goal,
Courtney Monard made three saves to secure the win, anchoring a back line that controlled play from start to finish.
Pacia led the team with a goal and an assist, increasing her team-leading total to five goals on the season. Hanna added her second and third goals of the year for a total of four points, while Coleman contributed three points on a goal and an assist. Waldbillig paced the offense with nine shots, six on goal, and an assist.
Madison Jellema also added a goal, showing impact off the bench.
King's women's soccer returns home to McCarthy Stadium on Tuesday, October 21
st, for a 7:00 PM matchup against No. 16 Misericordia University in MAC Freedom play.
