Men's Soccer Downed at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, PA (October 28, 2025) -- The King's College men's soccer team fell 3-0 to Lebanon Valley College on Tuesday afternoon in a MAC Freedom matchup. With the result, the Monarchs drop to 2-11-3 on the season and 2-11-5 in conference, while Lebanon Valley improves to 9-2-6 and 3-0-3 in the MAC.

Lebanon Valley struck early in the 7th minute when an attempted clear by King's landed right in front of the Dutchmen, who capitalized to take a 1-0 lead.

The Monarchs responded with several attacking opportunities but were unable to find the back of the net despite efforts from Philip Permyashkin, CJ Anderson, and William Zelaya.

The hosts extended their advantage in the 50th minute on a headed cross and added a third goal in the 79th minute on a run up the right side, bringing the LVC lead to 3-0. Despite creating several chances in the attacking third, King's was unable to convert as the Dutchmen secured the 3-0 victory.

In yet another physical battle, the Monarchs committed 17 fouls while Lebanon Valley was called for 14, with five yellow cards issued, four to King's and one to Lebanon Valley. Lebanon Valley also outshot King's 18-7 and held a 6-1 advantage in corner kicks.

King's generated seven shots on the day with one on goal. Permyashkin led the Monarchs offensively with three shots, including the lone shot on target. Other contributors included Brayden Lane, Aaron Gutkowski, Anderson, and Zelaya. Ben Van Valkenburg finished with six saves in 90 minutes of action.

King's men's soccer closes out the regular season on Saturday, November 1, as the Monarchs celebrate Senior Night with a matchup against Arcadia University at 7:30 PM.
