WILKES-BARRE, PA (October 28, 2025) – The King's College women's volleyball team closed out its home schedule in thrilling fashion on Morgan's Message night, defeating FDU-Florham 3–2 inside McGrane Gymnasium in MAC Freedom play on Tuesday. The win highlighted a historic performance from senior libero Morgan Williams, as she matched her career best 42 digs which moved her into second place all-time in program history.
The Monarchs started strong, claiming the first two sets 25–23 and 25–19 behind a balanced offense led by Lindsay Arezina, Bella Salvia, and Mia Campanile. Izzy Deluco guided the attack with crisp passing and tempo, while Williams anchored the defense to help King's build a 2–0 lead.
FDU-Florham responded with resilience, rallying to win the third set 25–20 and the fourth 25–15 to force a decisive fifth. In the final frame, Williams' defensive consistency and Arezina's timely kills fueled the Monarchs' response, as King's closed out the match with a 15–11 victory to secure the home finale in dramatic fashion.
King's finished the night with 59 kills, 93 digs, and two aces. Salvia paced the offense with 13 kills, while Arezina added 12 kills and four blocks. Campanile tallied 11 kills, and Deluco (26) and Ariela Towsey (25) combined for 51 assists. Williams' 42 digs led all players and moved her into second place all-time in career digs at King's, while Riley McArdle and Towsey chipped in 23 and 13 digs, respectively.
The Monarchs (16–9, 2–4 MAC Freedom) will play their final tri-match of the season on Saturday, November 1, when they take on RIT and Vassar in Poughkeepsie, NY.
