ANNVILLE, PA (October 29, 2025)—The King's College women's soccer team dropped a MAC Freedom contest at Lebanon Valley on Wednesday by a score of 4-0. With the result, the Monarchs fall to 5-10-2 overall and 1-4-1 in conference while the Flying Dutchmen improve to 13-2-2 overall and 4-1-1 in the MAC Freedom.
Lebanon Valley struck early in the second minute to take a 1-0 lead and quickly doubled their advantage just minutes later in the eighth. King's goalkeeper
Courtney Monard kept the deficit from growing in the early stages, turning away six shots in the opening half to keep the Monarchs within striking distance.
The best chance for the Monarchs to score came in the 19
th on a shot from
Taryn Conover taken just outside the left corner of the box that was saved by the Dutchmen goalie to keep King's at bay.
The hosts extended their lead to 3-0 in the 30th minute and took that advantage into the halftime break.
LVC tacked on their fourth goal in the 87
th minute and closed out the final three to secure a 4-0 victory.
The Flying Dutchmen outshot King's 25-4 overall and held an 11-0 advantage in corner kicks. Monard recorded nine saves over 90 minutes of action while Conover tallied King's only shot on goal, and Juarez contributed three shots.
King's women's soccer returns home to McCarthy Stadium on Saturday, November 1, closing out the regular season against Arcadia University at 5:00 PM.
