BETHLEHEM, PA (December 13, 2025) – The King's College men's basketball team fell on the road to Moravian University by a score of 67-94 on Saturday afternoon. The loss brings the Monarchs to 3-7 overall while the Greyhounds improve to 5-3 on the season.
After trading baskets early, the Monarchs trailed just 31–38 at the break thanks to strong guard play from Ben Rodner-Tims and tough work on the interior by Devin Kimmick. Moravian pulled away in the second half, outscoring King's 56–36 on 52.5% shooting from the field and 50% (11-22) from beyond the arc.
King's didn't go down without a fight. The Monarchs outrebounded Moravian 48-40 and dominated the offensive glass, grabbing 16 offensive rebounds to just eight for the Greyhounds. They forced 19 turnovers, showing intensity and defensive pressure, even if those opportunities translated to only eight points. The team's effort on every possession highlighted their grit and determination.
Rodner-Tims led the way with 16 points and four rebounds on 8-for-17 shooting, while Jaden Hall added 11 points, four boards, and a steal. Kimmick anchored the paint with 16 rebounds and a steal, and Ray Gooley chipped in eight points, four rebounds, and two assists. Jake Karnish contributed six points, six rebounds, an assist, and a steal, rounding out a balanced effort.
As a team, King's shot 34.3 percent (24-of-70) from the field, 23.5 percent (8-of-34) from three, and 55.5 percent (11-of-20) from the line. The Monarchs tallied 11 assists, six steals, and 48 rebounds, showing flashes of teamwork and relentless effort even in a tough outing.
The Monarchs (3–7) will return to action in the New Year on Saturday, January 3, taking on Scranton University. Tip-off is set for 3:00 p.m., and the team will look to carry their hustle and energy into 2026.
