PITTSTON, PA (February 15, 2025)– The King's College men's ice hockey team fell 2-1 to the Knights of Arcadia on Saturday night at the Revolution Ice Centre. With the loss in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), they move to 8-12-1, 6-10-1 in conference play as the Knights improve to 10-11-2, 8-9-2 in conference play on the season.
After a competitive first two periods of action, all three of the games goals were scored in the final 20 minutes of play. Cody Mastay got the Knights on the board at 9:08 with an assist from Kevin Maisells. Jack Quigley was sent to the penalty box for elbowing at 17:26, giving the Monarchs a six on four power play opportunity after pulling goaltender
Matt Bidini from the net. Wesley Crofoot went on to score a shorthanded, unassisted, empty net goal at 18:33 to give Arcadia the 2-0 lead. With help from

Patrick Nowak found the back of the net in the final ten seconds of regulation after being on a power play that resulted from a hooking penalty on Connor Dennis, but the 2-1 score in favor of the Knights stood as time expired.

Erik Borshchevsky each had two blocks alongside Bidini's 27-save night.
The Monarchs are back in action on Tuesday, February 18 as they travel to Hershey, PA to square off with the Flying Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley College at HersheyPark Arena at 4:30 p.m.
