ANNVILLE, PA (February 18, 2025) -- The King's College women's basketball team struggled early on the road on Tuesday night as they fell, 59-33, at Lebanon Valley in Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) play. The Monarchs drop to 8-16 overall and 4-9 in the standings, while the Flying Dutchmen jump to 18-6 with an 11-2 conference mark.

Lebanon Valley (18-6, 11-2 MAC Freedom) scored the first eight points of the game and never looked back in the conference contest. King's (8-16, 4-9 MAC Freedom) made it a four-point contest on layups from
Juleesah Hines and
Lauren Casey, but the Dutchmen responded with an 11-2 run down the stretch to lead 19-6 after one quarter of play. The Monarchs opened the second with a 4-2 edge on baskets from
Gianna Dickson and Casey, but the host Lebanon Valley rolled throughout the remainder of the frame to hold a 34-10 advantage at the break.

King's went toe-to-toe with the Dutchmen early in the third and went on to out score Lebanon Valley 15-6 in the fourth, but it was too little to late as the Monarchs dropped the 59-33 MAC Freedom contest on the road on Tuesday night.

Casey led the team with eight points and a block, while
Irelynd Long came off the bench to score eight with three rebounds and a steal.
Cadie Lewis collected a team-high eight rebounds, and
Alli Lindsay added five with two blocks, two assists, and a steal.

Riley Hevelow paced Lebanon Valley with 15 points, while Brielle Reidinger finished with a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The King's defense limited Lebanon Valley to 13.3% (2-15) from beyond the arc and forced 10 Dutchmen turnovers. The Monarchs bench also outscored their foes, 13-11, in the match up.

The Monarchs will wrap up their regular season on the road on Saturday afternoon, making the short trip up the mountain to Dallas, Pa. Tip off against Misericordia University is set for 1:00 p.m. in the MAC Freedom contest.
