NEWTOWN, PA (February 3, 2025) – On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) recognized sophomore goaltender Diego D'Alessandro as the MAC Defensive Player of the Week. This is his third-straight week being named as such and his third career MAC weekly honor.

D'Alessandro recorded 60 saves for a .952 save percentage and 1.50 goals against average. He opened the weekend with 37 saves in a 5-2 win on the road at Stevenson on Friday before making 23 saves in Saturday's 2-1 home win over Misericordia.

The Monarchs are back at the Revolution Ice Centre on Friday, February 7 for a 7 p.m. face off with the Alvernia University Golden Wolves.
