DALLAS, PA (April 17, 2025) – The King's College baseball team fell short in both games of today's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) doubleheader against the Cougars of Misericordia with a final score of 11-0 in game one and 7-3 in game two on Thursday afternoon at Tambur Field. With the wins, the Cougars improve to 24-12, 12-6 in conference play while the Monarchs move to 10-23, 3-15.
Game 1 – L, 0-11
The Cougars scored three runs in the first inning, three in the third, four in the fifth and one in the sixth to secure the 11-0 shutout win.

Joshua Quinones each notched hits in the setback as
Aydan Davis (1-1) took the pitching loss after one inning and one strikeout, handing Misericordia's Max Oliver (5-3) the win on the mound.
Game 2 – L, 3-7
The Monarchs scored their first run of the day in the first inning as
Kevin Kullman hit a sacrifice fly ball to right center field to bring
Troy Neff home. The Cougars answered back with five runs in the bottom of the inning, as well as one in the second and one in the fourth to make it 7-1.
In the fifth inning, Day hit a double to right field to put
Jaiden Wanamaker on third and score Neff, and then Day advanced to third and Wanamaker scored on a wild pitch. The eighth and ninth innings were scoreless, leaving the 7-3 final score in favor of the Cougars standing.
Neff recorded two runs, Day (0-5) notched two hits and one RBI and was also handed the pitching loss after going 3.2 innings with one strikeout. Owen Daminger (1-0) snagged the win on the mound, going five innings with four strikeouts.
The Monarchs are back home on Monday, April 21 as they host the Nittany Lions of Penn State Hazleton at 4 p.m. at Lipo Field.
