DOYLESTOWN, PA (April 5, 2025) – The King's College baseball team split Saturday's Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom doubleheader against the Aggies of Delaware Valley University at Frank Wolfgang Field. With the split, the Monarchs move to 9-17 overall and 2-9 in conference play as the Aggies improve to 3-22, 1-10.
Game 1 – L, 0-4
The Aggies scored four unanswered runs with one in the first inning, two in the second and one in the fourth to secure the 4-0 win.

Jaiden Wanamaker and
Zach Day each tallied a hit in the setback as
Aydan Davis (1-2) was handed the pitching loss, notching two strikeouts through 2.1 innings.
Game 2 – W, 16-4
Delaware Valley got going with a run in the first inning before the Monarchs found their groove in the second.
Joshua Quinones reached second base on a fielder's choice, bringing
Jacob Sutton and
Zach Jenkins home and scoring off an error by the third baseman.
Troy Neff singled to right field, advanced to second on the throw and scored Quinones. Wanamaker got to second on an error by the shortstop and brought Neff home in the process to make it 4-1. Sophomore catcher
Zach Jenkins hit a grand slam to left field, bringing home
Owen Kosar, Day and Wanamaker to extend the lead to 8-1 through two.
Trying to come up with an answer, the Aggies scored two runs in the third and one in the fourth. In the fifth inning, the Monarchs offense got going again as Wanamaker struck out swinging but reached first on a passed ball, sending Neff to second and bringing Sutton home. Day then hit a single to center field to score Wanamaker and Neff. Kosar reached first base on an error by the third baseman, putting
Kevin Kullman on second and Day at home. Jenkins hit a double to right field to advance Kosar to third and score Kullman. Sutton advanced to second, Jenkins to third and Kosar scored all off a wild pitch before wrapping up the inning with a 14-4 lead.
In the sixth inning, the Monarchs added two more runs as Wanamaker hit a single to left field to score Neff and Jenkins reached first off an error by the third basemen to advance Kosar to second, Day to third and Wanamaker home to secure the 16-4 conference win.
Jenkins led the team with two runs, three hits, and six RBIs on the afternoon as
Vincent Mattio (1-2) earned the pitching win with one strikeout through three innings pitched.
The Monarchs host the Aggies on Monday, April 7 at Lipo Field with the first pitch at 3:30 p.m.
