WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 13, 2025) -- The Lingenfelter Era is set to begin for King's College women's soccer this upcoming season, and with the excitement stirring around the program, Head Coach Jessica Lingenfelter announced the 2025 schedule on Friday afternoon. The Monarchs are prepped for 17 matches in the slate, including seven on their home pitch at McCarthy Stadium.

The Monarchs open their season in this year's Stockton Tournament where King's will take on Kean on Friday, August 29 before facing the host Stockton on August 30 with both contests set for 4:00 p.m. The team will then return to McCarthy Stadium for their home opener against Widener on September 6 at 3:30 p.m. before heading back out for a three-game road stretch with stops at cross-town rival Wilkes on September 10, New Paltz on September 13, and Lycoming on September 17.

Back-to-back home matches will see King's battle against Wilson on September 20 and Immaculata on September 24 before traveling to Stevenson on September 27.

The month of October begins with their Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) opener at home against Stevens on October 4 before concluding their non-conference slate on the road at Rutgers-Newark on October 8. MAC Freedom play resumes with back-to-back road tests at FDU-Florham on October 11 and Delaware Valley on October 18 before coming back to Wilkes-Barre for two consecutive home contests against Misericordia on October 21 and DeSales on October 25.

One final journey for King's will see the squad at Lebanon Valley on October 29 before hosting Arcadia in their regular-season finale on November 1.

The 2025 MAC Freedom Tournament is set for the semifinal match up on November 4 with the 2025 MAC Freedom Champion crowned on Saturday, November 8 with an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championships on the line.
