WILKES-BARRE, PA (July 9, 2026) -- With preparations for the upcoming fall season continuing throughout the summer, head coach Jessica Lingenfelter has unveiled the Monarchs' 2026 women's soccer schedule on Thursday. King's is set for an 18-game regular-season schedule that features eight home matches at McCarthy Stadium.
The Monarchs open the 2026 campaign at home against cross-town rival Wilkes University on September 1. King's hits the road for three consecutive contests against Widener University on September 4 and Swarthmore College on September 5 before traveling to Wilson College on September 9.
The Monarchs return to McCarthy Stadium on September 12 to host Elmira College at 4:00 p.m. before welcoming Lycoming College on September 16 at 4:00 p.m. King's then heads back on the road for contests at Lancaster Bible College on September 19 and Kean University on September 23 before returning home to host Bryn Mawr College during Homecoming Weekend on September 26 at 7:30 p.m.
The month of October begins with the Monarchs opening Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom play on the road against defending conference champion Stevens on October 3. King's then continues conference action at Arcadia University on October 6 before returning home to host FDU-Florham on October 10 at 4:00 p.m. and Lebanon Valley College on October 14 at 7:00 p.m.
The Red and Gold continue conference play with a trip to DeSales University on October 17 before traveling to Misericordia University on October 20. King's then returns to McCarthy Stadium to host Marywood University on October 24 at 7:00 p.m. Prior to kickoff against the Pacers, the Monarchs will recognize their senior class as part of Senior Day festivities. The regular season then enters its final week with a home contest against Delaware Valley University on October 28 at 7:00 p.m. before concluding on the road at Alvernia University on October 31 at 6:30 p.m.
The 2026 MAC Freedom Tournament is set to begin with a play-in game on November 2, followed by semifinal matchups on November 4. The 2026 MAC Freedom Championship is scheduled for November 7, with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship.
