WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 20, 2025) -- Earlier this week, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams. This year, King's College placed six on the teams in women's ice hockey's Syd Dahl, women's ice hockey and women's golf's Brighton Wallin, field hockey's Davina Krappa, and women's lacrosse's Chloe Burke, Maria Schneider, and Sarah Schultz.

Dahl caps off a historic and record-breaking career with her second CSC Academic All-District® nod. The senior goalkeeper played in 14 out of a possible 24 games in net, made 374 saves, and recorded four wins for the Monarchs. She posted several new program records to conclude the season, including most career goalie wins (11), career goalie saves (2,569), two career shutouts, highest season save percentage (.923), and lowest season goals against average (2.40). The sociology and environmental studies major finished the Spring 2025 semester with a 3.79 GPA.

Wallin picks up her second Academic All-District® honor as the two-sport standout finished the women's golf season third among the squad in round average and competed in the two-day Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Women's Golf Championships. On the ice, the forward appeared in all 24 games and totaled nine points on four goals and five assists with one power-play goal and one game-winning goal. A management and entrepreneurship major, Wallin posted a 3.69 GPA to achieve Academic All-District® recognition.

Krappa had a breakthrough season for the King's field hockey team as she collects her first career Academic All-District® recognition. The sophomore earned All-MAC Freedom Honorable Mention, appearing and starting in all 19 games in the midfield and recording eight points on three goals and two assists off 21 shots with two game-winning goals and a defensive save. Krappa is a healthcare management major and wrapped up the 2024-25 academic year with a 3.98 cumulative GPA.

Burke finishes off her solid career in the red and gold with her second CSC Academic All-District® accolade. The senior midfielder surpassed 100 ground balls and 100 points this season as she appeared in 15 games with 14 starts. She totaled 38 points on 29 goals and nine assists with 47 ground balls, 39 draw controls, and 23 caused turnovers. The political science and philosophy major posted an impressive 3.92 GPA to earn the honor.

Schneider earns her first CSC Academic All-District® nod as a junior midfielder appearing and starting in all 15 games in 2025. She recorded 42 points on 29 goals and 13 assists with 55 draw controls, 50 ground balls, and 27 caused turnovers. The physician assistant major finished with a 3.80 cumulative GPA to earn her first CSC honors in her career.

Schultz had a top-notch junior campaign and appears on her first CSC Academic All-District® team. She posted career-bests of 43 points on 30 goals and 13 assists with 36 ground balls as an attack. A biochemistry and molecular biology major, Schultz finished with a 3.59 cumulative GPA.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
