WILKES-BARRE, PA (June 9, 2025) -- With the books closed on the historic 2024 campaign, it's time to turn the page and look ahead to the upcoming 2025 King's College football season as second-year Head Coach Mike Ceborsky unveils the slate on Monday afternoon. The Monarchs will host four opponents in McCarthy Stadium this fall and will compete in two night games in 2025.
The Monarchs open the 2025 campaign on the road at cross-town rival Wilkes University for the 29th annual Mayor's Cup game with kickoff set for Thursday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Schmidt Stadium.
King's then turns their attention to their Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) schedule as they open on the road at Delaware Valley on September 13 before hosting FDU-Florham in their home opener at McCarthy Stadium on September 20 at 1:00 p.m. The following week will be Homecoming Weekend as the Monarchs play host to Eastern at 1:00 p.m.
Bye week is schedule for the weekend of October 4, but following the bye King's will travel to Stevenson for a Friday night match up in Owings Mills, Md. at 7:00 p.m. at Mustang Stadium. The Monarchs return home to host Alvernia on October 18, travel to Lebanon Valley on October 25, and host Albright on November 1 while honoring its seniors before the 1:00 p.m. kick off. The remainder of the 2025 campaign will see the red and gold on the road at Widener on November 8 before making the short trip up the mountain to Misericordia for the regular-season finale on November 15.
The top-seeded team in the MAC will receive an automatic bid to the 2025 NCAA Divsion III Football Championships, while the next three seeded teams will compete in the annual Centennial-MAC Bowl Series on November 22.
