NEWTOWN, PA (August 22, 2025) -- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office posted their last round of fall Coaches' Preseason Polls on Friday morning. The King's College women's volleyball team was picked to finish eighth with 12 points in the 2025 MAC Freedom Coaches' Preseason Poll.
Stevens is looking to extend their championship streak to six as they earned the top spot with 48 points and six first-place votes. Misericordia took second with 44 points and two first place votes , while DeSales picked up 35 tallies to rank third. Lebanon Valley rounded the top four spots with 33 points.
Arcadia took fifth with 25 points, FDU-Florham had 14 tallies for sixth, and Delaware Valley finished one point behind with 13 points for seventh-place voting. King's took the last spot with 12 tallies.
The Monarchs are returning six-time MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week and 2024 All-MAC Freedom honorable mention,
Morgan Williams (Sr.), who will lead the squad on the defensive end. King's will also return
Bella Salvia (Sr.) and
Emma Bolich (Sr.) who were named to the 2024 CSC Academic All-District Team. The Monarchs brought back 14 players from the 2024 season and will look to head coach Bernie Kachinko in his 33
rd year.
King's are one week away from their home opening tri-match against Penn State Schuylkill and Keystone on Friday, August 29
th at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in McGrane Gymnasium. Following the holiday break, the squad will host the Pacers of Marywood University on Wednesday, September 3
rd at 6 p.m.
