WILKES-BARRE, PA (August 6, 2025) -- As our fall sports preparations continue, the King's College Athletic Communications office announced its newest addition to assist in the coverage of our 28 varsity programs. On Wednesday afternoon, Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications Bridget Walsh announced James Schneider as an Athletic Communications Assistant ahead of the 2025-26 academic year.

"I couldn't be more excited to join the King's College family," said Schneider. "I look forward to working with Bridget and the teams, coaches, student-athletes, and staff to showcase their achievements and contribute to the success of all our teams on and off the field."

Schneider serves as the senior editor for the Sports Daily Media Network, a sports blog started in 2022 that produces podcasts such as the Sports Daily CBB, Pitch Invaders, and In a Nutshell: Big Ten as well as blogs that focus on sports like football, basketball, and baseball to name a few.

Since 2023, Schneider has worked for Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in New York, N.Y. as a Family Office Services Specialist, creating detailed financial projects and models for his clients, analyzing portfolios and data, and contributing to an increase in client engagement in his stint. He also spent a summer as a business development intern with E3 HR Inc. in Summit, N.J. as he engaged with sales, business development, and management teams and assisted with the creation of new marketing initiatives.

"This newest addition will be a great asset to our department as we look to increase our coverage for our varsity programs," stated Walsh. "Throughout the interview process, his passion for collegiate athletics, the King's mission, and the values of both the College and our Athletic Communications Department were clear and evident."

He is a 2023 graduate of Fairfield University with degrees in finance and sports management and will be assisting with coverage of all 28 varsity programs this academic year as well as select sports to be announced at a later date.
