Senior Libero Morgan Williams' dominant play this week has earned her a seventh MAC Defensive Player of the Week award. In just three matches, she collected 80 digs (6.7 per set) with 12 assists and five aces. Her 30 digs in a five-set win over Ramapo moved her into fourth place on King's all-time digs list. Williams is off to an incredible start to the season, as her 130 digs and 6.19 digs per set lead the conference by a wide margin. The captain is now just eight digs shy of third place in the King's record book, and will look to claim the spot after a tri match against The City College of New York and St Elizabeth on Saturday the 13th.
