DOYLESTOWN, PA (January 17, 2026) — The King's College men's basketball team fell on the road to Delaware Valley University, 108–81, in MAC Freedom action Saturday afternoon at James Work Gymnasium. The Monarchs drop to 4-11 overall and 1-3 in conference play, while the Aggies improve to 8-7 overall and 2-2 in the MAC Freedom.

Delaware Valley gained control early, using efficient shooting and transition offense in the midst of a 10-2 run over the first three minutes. King's stayed within reach behind early contributions from Sean Forrest and Cole Walker, with a Ben Malley three pointer cutting the Aggie lead to eight at the 9:07 mark.

The Aggies responded with a 14-5 burst, pushing their lead to 20 with just under seven minutes left in the half. Although King's traded baskets over the remainder of the half, Delaware Valley had already established an advantage, taking a 55-35 lead into the locker room.

Ben Rodner-Tims paced the Monarchs in the first half with seven points, while Forrest and Walker added scoring support as King's shot 50 percent from the field over the opening 20 minutes.

In the second half, Delaware Valley continued to push the pace, fueled by hot perimeter shooting, finishing with 19 made three-pointers on the night. The Monarchs battled offensively, with Walker adding eight points in the second half, while Devin Kimmick facilitated the offense with a team-high six assists. Despite their efforts, the Aggies held firm down the stretch to secure a 108–81 victory.

King's finished the game shooting 50.0 percent from the field and outscored Delaware Valley in the paint, 40–38. The Monarchs also led the second chance points battle, 16-14, but were outpaced by Delaware Valley's 52.8 percent shooting from beyond the arc.

Rodner-Tims led King's with 15 points and seven rebounds, while Walker added 14 points on a perfect 6-of-6 shooting performance off the bench. Forrest chipped in 12 points, and Malley and Kimmick each finished with 10.
