WILKES-BARRE, PA (January 2, 2025) -- The King's College men's volleyball team was picked eighth in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) pre-season poll, released by the conference Friday morning.
Stevens earned the top spot in the poll with 62 points and six first-place votes after extending their streak as four-time defending conference champions. Messiah followed closely in second with 58 points and three first-place votes, while Misericordia rounded out the top three with 51 points.
Stevenson landed in fourth place with 40 points, and Arcadia claimed fifth with 35 points. Widener came in sixth with 29 points, Eastern secured seventh with 25 points, and Hood rounded out the poll in ninth with 8 points.
The Monarchs are coming off a 12-16 campaign in 2025 with a 1-7 record in the MAC. Returning to the King's lineup in 2026 is All-MAC Honorable Mention outside hitter
Logan Dougherty, who broke the single season kills record last season with 319. Dougherty will be joined by another record-breaker in libero
Aiden Glasgow, who set the single season digs record as a first year with 172 in 2025.
King's kicks off their season on January 17
th with a tri-match at home against Kean University and Cairn University. Their first conference matchup is scheduled on February 26
th against Misericordia.
