WILKES-BARRE, PA (January 6, 2026) -- On Tuesday afternoon, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their latest 2025 Academic All-District® Teams with the recognition of football student-athletes. This year's honorees featured five members of the King's College football team, including juniors Kaleb Beers, Ryan Lewiski, James Mangine and Joey Rehberg along with sophomore Will Mecca.
 
Beers earned the second CSC honor of his career after suiting up for all 10 games this season at center and left tackle, grading out at a 95% average with only two allowed sacks on the year.  The junior played a key role in an offensive line that powered the Monarchs to 1,631 rushing yards and an average of 163.1 yards per game with 15 touchdowns on the ground. Mangine also earned his second-consecutive CSC honor, racking up 36 total tackles - evenly split between 18 solo and 18 assisted - across nine contests. The junior safety added 2.0 tackles for loss with five pass breakups and an interception. Rehberg also made his second appearance as CSC honoree, serving as the holder on a special teams unit that went a perfect 5-for-5 on field goals and 29-for-33 on extra point attempts. In two starts under center, he recorded 54 passing yards with 12 yards on the ground.
 
Lewiski made his CSC Academic All-District® debut after suiting up for nine games, primarily as a special-teamer. The junior contributed five tackles, including three assisted and two solo. Joining him as a first-time honoree is Mecca, who returned two punts for a combined 18 yards in nine games this season.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Football teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes football honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
