The Coaches: Mike Cebrosky is in his 17th season as a member of the King's football coaching staff and his third season as head coach of the Monarchs. Through his first two years at the helm, Cebrosky has guided King's to a 15-7 overall record and a 14-4 mark in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) play, highlighted by the program's first outright MAC championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Football Championships in 2024. During his tenure as head coach, the Monarchs have produced 27 All-MAC selections, eight D3football.com All-Region honorees, and one D3football.com All-American. Cebrosky was named the 2024 MAC Coach of the Year after leading King's to a 10-2 overall record, a perfect 9-0 conference mark, and the longest winning streak in program history. Shaun Weaver is in his second season as head coach of the Lions after being named the program's 21st head coach in November 2024. In his first season at the helm, Weaver guided Albright to its most MAC victories since 2017, doubling the program's win total from the previous year and closing the season with a 35-9 victory over Widener in the 74th Annual Rajah Shrine Pretzel Bowl. Under his leadership, nine Lions earned All-MAC honors, highlighted by First Team selection Arthur Poindexter, who captured the conference receiving the triple crown. Prior to his appointment, Weaver spent four seasons on the Albright staff in a variety of roles, including defensive coordinator, while also serving as defensive line coach and recruiting coordinator at Frostburg State University in 2024. A veteran coach with more than 20 years of collegiate experience, Weaver previously spent 14 seasons at Gettysburg College, where he coached 18 All-Centennial Conference selections and two Academic All-Americans.
