WILKES-BARRE, PA (February 17, 2026) -- On Tuesday morning, the King's College athletic department and Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) announced the dates for their 2026 Special Olympics basketball practices in partnership with the Luzerne County Special Olympics athletes.

As always, the practices will be held on Tuesday night's in McGrane Gymnasium inside the Scandlon Physical Education Center and will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Practices are open to all King's student-athletes and teams, and basketball skills or knowledge are not required.

King's will hold seven practices in 2026 and follow the schedule below:

• Tuesday, March 3
• Tuesday, March 17
• Tuesday, March 24
• Tuesday, March 31
• Tuesday, April 7 in conjunction with NCAA Division III Week
• Tuesday, April 14
• Tuesday, April 21

The spring season will conclude with the annual red carpet dance and celebration on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in McGrane Gymnasium.
