IMMACULATA, PA (March 21, 2026) - King's dropped a road contest on Saturday afternoon, falling to Immaculata 10-5 in non-conference men's lacrosse action.
The Monarchs opened the scoring thanks to a rip from Josh Hilpp but found themselves in an early deficit as Immaculata capitalized on its offensive opportunities in the opening quarter to take control of the game 4-2. King's worked to settle in offensively, generating several scoring chances, but the hosts maintained their advantage through the rest of the quarter and took a 7-3 lead into the half.
King's showed resilience coming out of the break, managing to hold Immaculata to just one goal. The Monarchs were able to find the back of the net thanks to a tally from Brenden Lynch to get within three and build some momentum, but Immaculata responded to stifle a King's comeback and take an 8-4 lead into the final frame.
In the fourth quarter, the Monarchs continued to battle and create opportunities, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome as Immaculata closed out the victory 10-5.
Offensively, Brenden Lynch paced King's with a hattrick while his brother, Ryan Lynch added one along with Hilpp . The Monarchs also found success in transition at times, creating chances off caused turnovers and ground balls.
Defensively, King's faced consistent pressure from the Immaculata attack, with Ryan Rickards stopping 16 shots to keep the game within reach. Despite the effort, Immaculata maintained control of possession for much of the contest.
King's will look to regroup and bounce back in its next outing as the Monarchs continue their season when Manhattanville comes to McCarthy Stadium on Saturday, March 28 at 1:00 p.m..
