Harmonosky's 11 Points Surge Women's Lacrosse Past Centenary

HACKETTSETOWN, NJ (March 25, 2026) — King's College women's lacrosse jumped out to a dominant early lead and never looked back, defeating Centenary 14-9 on the road Wednesday afternoon. With the win, the Monarchs improve to 2-6 on the season.

The Monarchs set the tone from the opening draw, erupting for five goals in the first quarter to take a commanding 5-0 lead. Sarah Schultz opened the scoring on a free-position goal before Emily Kane and Chelsea Lee followed with tallies to extend the advantage. Brooke Harmonosky and Schultz each added goals late in the frame to cap the strong start.

King's continued its offensive surge in the second quarter, outscoring Centenary 6-1 to take an 11-1 lead into halftime. Schultz recorded a hat trick in the quarter, while Harmonosky added a goal and multiple assists during the run. Sydney Stratton also found the back of the net, and the Monarchs capitalized on several man-up opportunities to build a double-digit advantage.

Centenary responded in the third quarter with a 4-1 edge, cutting into the deficit as the Cyclones found some offensive rhythm. Stratton netted the lone goal of the period for King's, finishing off a feed from Harmonosky to keep the Monarchs comfortably in front at 12-5 heading into the fourth.

The Monarchs held off a late push in the final quarter, adding two more goals from Harmonosky and Stratton to maintain control. Despite Centenary scoring four times in the period, King's closed out the 14-9 victory.

Harmonosky delivered a historic performance, totaling four goals and seven assists for 11 points. Her seven assists and 11 points both tie for second all-time in a single game in program history. Sarah Schultz led all scorers with five goals and added an assist, while Stratton recorded a hat trick. Kane and Lee each chipped in a goal, and Emilee Schultz added two assists.

In goal, Alyssa Reeber earned the win with 18 saves, helping the Monarchs withstand a 36-shot effort from Centenary.

King's will look to carry the momentum into its next contest as the Monarchs head to Stevens on April 1 for a 4:00 p.m. start.
