Women's Lacrosse Surrenders Conference Opener at Stevens

HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 1, 2026) — The King's College women's lacrosse team dropped its MAC Freedom opener on the road Monday evening, falling 23-0 to Stevens Institute of Technology.

Stevens controlled the game from the opening draw, scoring early and often to build a 8-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Ducks continued their offensive pressure in the second, adding 6 more goals to take a 14-0 advantage into halftime.

The Monarchs continued to battle in the second half despite the deficit, with Stevens adding four goals in the third and five in the fourth to secure the 23-0 final.

Defensively, King's faced heavy pressure throughout the contest as Stevens totaled 43 shots. Alyssa Reeber and Gianna Chiarizio split time in goal, combining to make four saves, with Reeber recording all four stops.

Despite the result, the Monarchs continued to compete and gain valuable experience in their conference opener against a strong Stevens squad.

King's will look to regroup as they continue MAC Freedom play in their next outing on the road at DeSales on Wednesday April 8 at 6:00 p.m..
