WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 8, 2026) — The King's College women's lacrosse team dropped a MAC Freedom matchup on Wednesday evening, falling 20-0 to DeSales University.
DeSales controlled the game from the opening draw, scoring early and often to build an 11-0 lead by the end of the first quarter. The Bulldogs continued their offensive pressure in the second, adding three more goals to take a 14-0 advantage into halftime.
The Monarchs continued to battle in the second half despite the deficit, with DeSales adding three goals in the third and three more in the fourth to secure the 20-0 final.
Defensively, King's faced heavy pressure throughout the contest as DeSales totaled 38 shots. Alyssa Reeber made 12 saves in goal in the effort and Lauren Casey heroically stepped in front of two shots to keep the pressure off Reeber.
Cadie Lewis led the team in ground balls on the evening with two and the Schultz twins accounted for all three of the Monarchs' shots.
King's will look to regroup as they return home to host FDU-Florham for a Mental Health Awareness Game on Saturday, April 11 at 1:00 p.m.
