GLENSIDE, PA (April 15, 2026) — The King's College women's lacrosse team fell on the road Wednesday afternoon, dropping a 17-3 decision to Arcadia University in MAC Freedom action.
Arcadia controlled possession early and generated consistent offensive pressure, breaking through quickly to take the early lead. The hosts continued to capitalize on their opportunities en route to their 9-0 start, building momentum throughout the opening quarter while limiting the Monarchs' chances on the offensive end.
King's battled to find rhythm, finding offense from a Sarah Schultz goal at the end of the quarter, but Arcadia maintained control, extending its advantage to 12-1 heading into halftime.
The Monarchs continued to compete in the second half, working to create opportunities on the attacking end and tightening up defensively in stretches. Sarah Schultz found the back of the net again to cut the deficit to 14-2. Despite the effort, Arcadia was able to sustain its offensive pace and add to its lead through the third and fourth quarters. Sarah Schultz rounded up her hat trick with 2:58 to go in the game, again unassisted.
Defensively, the Monarchs faced steady pressure throughout the game as Arcadia fired off 35 total shots, including 29 on goal. Alyssa Reeber weathered the storm, making 13 saves in between the pipes.
King's will return home for its next matchup, hosting Lebanon Valley College on Friday, April 17 for Senior Day. Opening draw is set for 6:00 p.m. at McCarthy Stadium.
