WILKES-BARRE, PA (April 17, 2026) — The King's College women's lacrosse team dropped a conference matchup to Lebanon Valley College, 20–1, on Senior Night Saturday evening at McCarthy Stadium.
Lebanon Valley controlled the game from the opening draw, scoring seven goals in the first quarter to take an early 7–0 lead. The Dutchmen used a balanced offensive attack throughout the frame, with multiple players finding the back of the net while limiting King's to just one shot in the period.
The visitors continued to build their advantage in the second quarter, adding another seven goals, including a pair of man-up scores, to extend the lead to 14–0 at halftime.
Lebanon Valley carried its momentum into the third, opening the half with three more goals to push the margin to 17–0. King's broke through late in the quarter when Sarah Schultz converted a free-position opportunity with 2:31 remaining for the Monarchs' lone goal of the night.
In the fourth, Lebanon Valley added three more tallies to secure the 20–1 final.
Schultz accounted for the Monarchs' goal, while Alyssa Reeber made 13 saves in net over 60 minutes of action.
Lebanon Valley held advantages in shots (43–3), ground balls (23–9), and draw controls (14–7), maintaining possession throughout the contest.
King's will look to bounce back in its next outing as the Monarchs travel to Misericordia University on Tuesday, April 21 for a 7:00 p.m. start.
