ANNVILLE, PA (April 18, 2026) — The King's College men's lacrosse team fell on the road to Lebanon Valley College, 16–5, Saturday afternoon at Arnold Field.
Lebanon Valley opened the scoring just over a minute into the contest and quickly built momentum with three goals in the first eight minutes. King's answered at the 5:49 mark as Ryan Lynch finished an unassisted effort to cut the deficit to 3–1.
The Dutchmen responded with two more goals, but the Monarchs struck in the closing seconds of the quarter when Miles Wilson found the back of the net with 24 seconds remaining to make it 5–2 after one.
Lebanon Valley seized control in the second quarter, outscoring King's 5–0 in the frame. The Dutchmen capitalized on several possessions, including a pair of late goals to extend the lead to 10–2 heading into halftime.
King's broke through in the third quarter as Wilson netted his second goal of the game at the 4:43 mark, trimming the deficit to 10–3. Lebanon Valley answered with two more goals in the period to take a 12–3 advantage into the final quarter.
In the fourth, the Dutchmen added two quick goals to stretch the lead before the Monarchs responded. Connor Walsh scored on an unassisted effort with 5:23 remaining, followed by a goal from Braydon Buckingham just over a minute later to make it 14–5. Lebanon Valley closed the game with two late tallies to secure the 16–5 final.
Wilson led the Monarch offense with two goals, while Lynch, Walsh, and Buckingham each added a goal.
In goal, Ryan Rickards made 19 saves over 60 minutes of action.
Lebanon Valley held advantages in shots (58–29), ground balls (49–28), and faceoffs (23–2), controlling possession throughout the contest.
King's will look to bounce back in its next outing as the Monarchs return home to host Misericordia on Wednesday, April 22 at 7:00 p.m.
