NEWTOWN, PA (May 8, 2026)-- The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) office released the 2026 All‑MAC Freedom Softball team on Friday morning with senior Breanna Goldspiel and first‑year Molly Veach receiving All‑MAC Freedom honors. Goldspiel earned Second Team recognition as an outfielder while Veach collected Honorable Mention as a designated player under the leadership of head coach Lisa Gigliello.

The All‑MAC Freedom Second Team selection is the first conference honor of Goldspiel's career. The East Stroudsburg, PA native appeared in and started all 35 games for the Monarchs this season in left field, emerging as King's most productive offensive player as she led the team in hits (37), runs scored (21), stolen bases, walks, on‑base percentage (.426), and OPS (.786) while batting .333 with 37 hits in a consistent senior campaign. Her best game of the season came in a conference matchup against DeSales on March 22, where Goldspiel went 3‑for‑4 at the plate and scored twice to lead the Monarchs to a 6-3 conference win.

The All‑MAC Freedom Honorable Mention nod is the first conference honor of Veach's career. The first‑year designated player appeared in 23 games for the Monarchs this season, finishing with a .262 average and a .364 on‑base percentage while ranking among King's leaders in walks and RBIs in a strong debut campaign. Her best performance of the 2026 campaign came on April 9 at Marywood, where Veach went 2‑for‑3 with two runs scored and two RBIs while also recording a sacrifice fly and reaching base on a hit‑by‑pitch in a 6-3 win over the Pacers.
